Portsmouth Drug Sweep Nets 11 Arrests

Eleven people were arrested Tuesday during a "drug sweep" throughout Portsmouth, according to a Portsmouth Police Department news release.

Most of the charges were related to possession and/or trafficking of prescription painkillers, including more than $1,700 worth of oxycodone for one suspect alone. Two of the suspects are accused of trafficking crack cocaine.

Here is a list of those arrested, all on felony-related charges:

    Jeffrey A. Scott Jr., 30, of Portsmouth
    Johnny D. Scott, 44, of Portsmouth
    William "Mike" Young, age unavailable, of Portsmouth
    Christopher R. Adkins, 32, of Portsmouth
    Sarah B. Sprague, 31, of Portsmouth
    Larry J. Riddle, 42, of Portsmouth
    Summer M. Magnatta, 28, of New Boston, Ohio
    Fred "John" Magnatta Jr., 35, of New Boston
    Roger W. Arrowood, 36, of Portsmouth
    Angela L. Lyon, 33, of Portsmouth
    Kendra Harding, 31, of Portsmouth

The arrests followed several months of investigation and indictments handed down from a Scioto County grand jury.
