The Nelsonville York Buckeyes are used to success under Head Coach Dave Boston, Jr. And they only grew that history of success last year, after an undefeated sweep of the TVC-Ohio, on their way to the TVC-Ohio crown, and playoff appearance. For other TVC-Ohio teams looking to unseat the Buckeyes, things don’t look to get any easier, as the Buckeyes return starters at each offensive skill position with veterans across both lines.
Veteran signal caller Nathan Dean will return to torch defenses with the assistance of speedy 6-4 receiver, Daniel Kline. And the prospects of aerial fireworks are increased when defenses also have to factor in hoping to stop returning tailback Dustin Young. “We’re expecting big things from all of these guys,” said Head Coach Boston.
Right now the Buckeyes are in the conditioning phase of their offseason, “sweating things out, getting ready for the season,” as Coach Boston put it. “At this point it’s a matter of getting the boys ready for the physical part of the season.”
