The Dairy Barn Arts Center is honoring Ora Anderson.

The Athens Center now has an exhibition called "pART and parcel" and Dairy Barn Executive Director Andrea Lewis says it was inspired by Anderson's life work.

"For many people in the community, they know and remember him as a steward for the recovery of the forests," she says. "He was a patron of the arts as well."

Anderson died in 2006 at the age of 94.

What's important about the exhibit is, had he still been with us, it would have been his 100th birthday this fall," says Lewis.

"pART and parcel" started in September and runs through November 20th.
