Ohio University's College of Arts and Sciences has a new dean.

OU Executive Vice President and Provost Pam Benoit announced Dr. Robert Frank to the appointment in an email today.

Frank is a psychology professor and associate dean for research and graduate studies at the University of Cincinnati. "Dr. Frank embodies all the best traditions of the College," Benoit said in the email. "In the course of his distinguished career at Cincinnati, he has demonstrated his capacity to be an imaginative and engaging leader. He will be a great asset to the College and to the University."

He will begin at OU August 1. The College of Arts and Sciences is the OU's largest college with more than 4,200 undergraduate students.
