On this edition of Conversations from Studio B, Tom Hodson talks with Sara Ganim, crime reporter for the Patriot-News in Harrisburg, Pa.

In March, 2011, Ganim broke the story that Penn State Assistant Football Coach Jerry Sandusky was being investigated by a grand jury for sexual abuse allegations. After the story drew national attention, she continued to lead coverage on the scandal.

Since then, she has received the 2011 Scripps-Howard Award for Community Journalism, the 2012 Distinguished Writing Award for Local Accountability Reporting from the American Society of News Editors and was recently named as one of the "150 Fearless Women in the World" by Newsweek.

Ganim was in Athens to deliver a lecture at the Baker University Theater.
