Athens City Schools Superintendent Carl Martin says non-teaching employees of the district have ratified a new working and wage agreement.

Now it's up to the school board to consider the contract, which is on the agenda for tomorrow's meeting.

No word yet on possible raises and other terms.

The workers initially rejected a tentative agreement, forcing negotiators back to the bargaining table.

The workers are represented by the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees and they include bus drivers, cafeteria workers and custodians.
