On Saturday, Sept. 22, Uncle Buck’s Riding Stable and Dance Barn hosted the "Pig Roast and Paddle" fundraising event on behalf of Athens Building Industry Association and Raccoon Creek Partnership.

Live music at the event included Albany’s own Rarely Herd as well as electric bluesman Willie Phoenix from Columbus.

Though many were in attendance for The Rarely Herd’s bluegrass music, Willie Phoenix also received a warm welcome from the Uncle Buck’s crowd.

Performing original music as well as covers (such as Bob Dylan’s "All Along The Watchtower"), Phoenix brought some extra edge to Saturday night’s event.

Check out the video above to see Phoenix and his band performing "Karma," a song that was recently picked up by the reality T.V. show Limo Kings, which premieres this fall.
