On this edition of Conversations from Studio B, host Kim Valentour talks with Louise DiLullo and Michele Corrigan of Live Healthy Appalachia about the 2nd annual Health Summit happening September 28 and 29.
The 2012 Live Healthy Appalachia Health Summit will be divided into two events, the “Professional Development And Continuing Education Conference” (September 28) and a “Community Health Event” (September 29).
The “Professional Development And Continuing Education Conference” will feature notable authors Dr. Michael Roizen and Dr. James O. Prochaska. Dr. Roizen wrote the award winning “RealAge” series, and co-authored the “YOU” series alongside Dr. Oz.
Dr. Prochaska wrote the famed book “Changing For Good”, which deals with the idea of change and how to realistically achieve lasting change in life.
The “Professional Development And Continuing Education Conference” takes place in the Walter Hall Rotunda on the Ohio University campus.
Day two of the Health Summits brings a “Community Health Event” to the Athens Community Center. Featured guests will include Caldwell Esselstyn M.D., an acclaimed physician and author who has written prolifically in the field of heart disease, as well as Chef AJ who will be hosting healthy cooking demonstrations.
