Vinton County Goes Red In Races

In the county sheriff race, Republican Shawn Justice beat Democrat Charles Chuck Boyer with 65 percent of the vote.
The race for county prosecutor was much closer with Democrat Trecia Kimes Brown winning with 2,703 votes and Republican Robert Driscoll receiving 2,562.
