In tonight's matchup, the Ohio Bobcats played host to the Minot State Beavers, as the Bobcats looked to increase their home record to 12-0-2. A win was exactly what Ohio got, winning 6-5 with 50 seconds left in the game.

Nick Rostek was the standout leader for the Bobcats tonight, as he scored three goals including the game-winner. Rostek's hat trick boosted the Bobcats to their tight victory.

“(Rostek) stepped up and played the role as our leader," Nick Hudeck said. "We really needed someone to step up and put the puck in the net."

The game was close throughout, though, with teams scoring back-and-forth in the first two periods. In the third, Ohio's defense and offense took over allowing one goal early on, but then scoring three unanswered goals to win. Matt Michno also played strong in the net by racking up 23 saves.

Zero penalty minutes were served by either team despite the physicality of both teams.

The two teams will faceoff again tomorrow, as the Bobcats will look to take the weekend series and improve to 13-0-2 at home this season.
