The Federal Hocking Lady Lancers used their physicality as an advantage in a 49-43 victory Thursday night over the Wahama Lady White Falcons, with center Cheyenne Singer grabbing rebounds and finishing at will.

Singer led all scorers with 23 points in the game, over half the Lancers points.

The Lancers came out of the halftime clinging to a 25-19 lead, but Singer came out fired up. She helped the Lancers hold a 15 point advantage at one point. She scored in a slew of different ways, mixing it up between second-chance points, free throws, and strong post moves.

The game got very intense in the second half, as a physical game sent players bodies hitting the floor numerous times. The Lady White Falcons had a late surge to pull within six, due to the intense full-court pressure they displayed in the waning minutes.

Kelsey Zuspan helped spark the comeback with 14 points while Mackenzie Gubritsch chipped in 10.
