Trimble came out on top of a real nail bitter, defeating the South Galia Rebels 63-60.
The game was a close one with Trimble only ever having a small lead for most of the game and the exciting conclusion came down to the last final seconds. Tonight's match was full of aggression that affected the play and the atmosphere all evening.
Trimble's star players were Konner Standley and Wyatt Deak. Standley put up 16 points. Deak chimed in with six assits and steals to go with two points.
Despite their loss, South Galia put up one heck of a fight and matched Trimble in everything but points. Their best player on the evening was Brayden Greer who not only scored 23 points and four assists. His final foul occurred right at the end of the game with less then two minutes on the clock. The next closest scorer was Kody Lambert. He claimed the first nine points on a trio of three-pointers. He managed to sink one more three-pointer by the end of the night. His impressive play was shot down by Trimble's even more aggressive and capable play on defense.
This victory puts the Trimble Tomcats at 9-9 overall and 7-5 in the conference. They go on the road for the next game when they take on Southern on Friday.
