A Glouster man died Saturday morning after being thrown from his vehicle in a crash along state route 550.

The Athens Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said Jason W. Sharp, 33, was driving eastbound on SR550 near milepost 5 just after midnight when his Toyota Tundra went off the left side of the road and overturned.

The report said Sharp was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.

The road was closed for about three hours following the accident.

Sharp was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
