A man wanted for a Cabell County murder is now behind bars.
West Virginia State Police say Terry "Boots" Morton was arrested by the FBI in Redford, Mich. Saturday night.
Police say Morton led police on a high-speed chase, crashed his car, and fled on foot before being caught.
Morton is wanted in connection with the murder of Christopher Carter, 25, in Barboursville.
The arrest warrant says Morton and Tyerus Hayes were fighting with Carter when police say Morton pulled out a handgun and shot Carter three times.
Investigators say Carter's girlfriend stole heroin from them.
Morton is at the Redford Police Department awaiting extradition to Cabell County.
