Two Area Companies Receiving Job Creation Tax Credit

Two area companies are among 15 across the state approved for a job creation tax credit by the Ohio Tax Credit Authority.

In a news release, Governor John Kasich's office said the projects are expected add $56 million in new payroll and $190 million in new investment across the state.

Pipe manufacturing McWane in Coshocton is expected to add 25 full-time positions after getting a six-year tax credit.

Westerman Incorporated in Fairfield County that makes products for global energy, marine and industrial end markets will create 24 new full-time positions.
