Two Arrested In Portsmouth For Weapon And Drugs

Two individuals are behind bars after police found heroin, a gun and money in a Scioto County residence on Friday.
Jessica Mounts, 27, of Portsmouth and Anthony Jones, 31, of Dayton are currently being held without bail at the Scioto County jail.
According to a press release issued by the Southern Ohio Drug Task Force, police seized 17 grams of heroin, a loaded handgun, digital scales, approximately $400 and a 2005 Black Cadillac.
Both suspects had outstanding warrants for their arrest.
Mounts and Jones are facing multiple felony charges for trafficking in heroin, possession of heroin, and having a weapon while under disability.
