Showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop and move toward southeast Ohio Wednesday afternoon and evening.
The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for most of the region until 10 p.m. Wednesday.
The Storm Prediction Center said gusty winds up to 70 miles per hour as we as quater to golfball size hail are possible with these storms.
Storms are expected to quiet down after midnight.
The chance of rain will continue for Thursday, with afternoon pop-up thunderstorms possible, however no severe weather is expected.
