An Albany man is facing charges in connection to a robbery last week at an Athens Bank.
Emmanuel Arocho, 31, was indicted in Athens County Municipal Court Monday morning on one count of robbery.
Proscecutors said Arocho is accused of entering the People's Bank on East State Street, handing the teller a napkin demanding money and instructing the teller not to activate the alarm. Arocho allegedly fled the bank with $3,150.
Just one day after Athens Police released a video surveillance picture, Arocho was named a suspect in the crime.
Arocho turned himself in early Saturday Morning. He is currently being held in the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail.
His arraignment is scheduled for Wednesday, July 24.
