On Oct. 5, former and current Ohio baseball players are set to throw the first pitch of the first annual Alumni Game at 12 p.m. at Wren Stadium. Leading up to the game, current and former players have a schedule full of activities.  On that Friday, everyone will enjoy a social and weekend kickoff. Following the game there will be a cookout for current players and their families. All fans can enjoy the game for free.

There are currently 13 players set to return to their alma mater for the friendly game. Pitcher Brett Barber, who was drafted to the Toronto Blue Jays in 2013, and pitcher Chris Rigo, the 2009 co-captain and First-Team All-MAC honoree, will be part of the returning members.

The 'Cats are coming off a 14-39 campaign from their 2013 season. Rob Smith is returning for his second year as coach for Ohio.
