Nearly 50 pounds of marijuana worth an estimated $200,000 was seized Tuesday at a home along Lafollette Road in Millfield, according to information from the Athens County Sheriff's Office.

The Sheriff's Office reports Donald Cribbet, 44, was arrested after members of the Narcotics Enforcement Team (NET) executed a search warrant at the home and discovered a marijuana grow operation.

According to the sheriff's office, no one lives in the home permanently, but there had been visits to cultivate the marijuana. Buds from the marijuana were being processed and sealed for transaction.

Rooms in the top of the home were used for processing, and rooms in the basement were used to cultivate the marijuana. A similar operation was discovered recently in Morgan County. NET detectives are working with Morgan County deputies to investigate any connection between the two operations.

Cribbet was taken to the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail.
