A Circleville man is in jail after he allegedly fled from deputies in a vehicle containing a mobile methamphetamine lab.

The Logan Daily reports that 51-year-old Duane Valentine was arrested in Fairfield County on Tuesday after fleeing from Hocking County.

Valentine admitted to having an active one-pot-meth-manufacturing vessel inside his vehicle.

The Fairfield-Hocking Major Crimes Unit allegedly found chemicals, scales and meth inside the vehicle.

Valentine faces illegal manufacturing of drugs and illegal assembly of chemicals for manufacturing of drugs charges, a second and third degree felony respectively.

The man also has a pending possession charge.

He was transported to the Fairfield County Jail.
