The Muskingum University Department of English will host a reading and lecture by poet A. E. Stringer on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 3:30 p.m. in Boyd Science Center.
Stringer is the author of three poetry collections: Channel Markers; Human Costume; and most recently, Late Breaking.
His work has appeared in The Nation, The Ohio Review, Shenandoah, The Cincinnati Review and in the anthology Backcountry: Contemporary Writing in West Virginia.
Stringer has also edited and introduced a new edition of Louise McNeill's Paradox Hill from West Virginia University Press. For 24 years, he taught writing and literature at Marshall University.
