Region's Artists Exhibiting At Foothills Art Festival

Jackson and Vinton counties will be well represented at the 32nd Annual Foothills Art Festival at Canter’s Cave 4-H Camp, five miles north of Jackson.

The public is invited to attend Friday, Oct. 18  and Saturday, Oct. 19 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m and Sunday, Oct. 20 from noon to 5 p.m. There is no admission charge and parking is free.

Live music will be provided Saturday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. by Columbus classical guitarist Sean Ferguson.

On Sunday, The Brighton Trio will play Chamber Music from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Kids will have the opportunity to create their own art projects on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 2 p.m. on the mezzanine while their parents enjoy the artwork.

The Foothills Art Festival is organized by the Southern Hills Arts Council and sponsored by Holzer Health System, Sands Hill Mining, LLC, OSCO Industries Employees Charity Fund, Cotner, Cooley, Clark & Sharp of McArthur and Jackson, Lockard Insurance, State Farm Insurance and Waugh Insurance.
