Ohio and Tyler Tettleton sported all-black jerseys for the first time Saturday. The 'Cats looked good and played even better during the 44-7 win over Marshall.

After a career best 375 yards passing and four touchdowns against the Eastern Michigan Eagles on Saturday, the Mid-American Conference named Ohio quarterback Tyler Tettleton MAC East Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.

Tettleton completed 23 of 30 pass attempts on Saturday afternoon, leading the Bobcats to an offensive explosion of 56 points, a point total that hasn’t been eclipsed by the Bobcats since the 1976 season.

Saturday’s performance is just the sixth time in Tettleton’s career that he has recorded 300 yards in a single game and the eighth time that he has scored three or more touchdowns.

Tettleton and the Bobcats begin a stretch of MAC East opponents on Saturday as they welcome the rival Miami RedHawks to Peden Stadium at 2 p.m.
