The Zanesville Community Theatre will present Harmony Romances, a sequel to last season’s popular comedy Ladies of Harmony, Nov. 15, 16, 22 and 23 at 8 p.m. with Sunday matinees at 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 17 and 24.
Sisters Nancy Hynds and Susan Stotts will be reprising their roles as director and producer respectively.
The sequel revisits Harmony Church and the Ladies Funeral Committee, who are planning a wedding instead of a funeral.
Returning cast members from last season’s production include Phil Palmer as Russell the mischievous custodian; Val Gahagan as the sensible and forthright Maud; Rebecca Wagstaff as the often childlike Addie; Laurel DuBeck as the sometimes over-the-top Grace; and Jan Kiikka as Leah, the bride-to-be.
New characters added to the mix this season include Lura Brannon as Marilyn; Dave Kerr as Harmony Church’s beloved Pastor Bob; and Jim Hester, the bridegroom who has disappeared into the bathroom and may not return in time for his own wedding vows.
Harmony Romances will be performed at Zanesville Community Theatre's 940 Findley Avenue theatre. To make reservations or for more information, phone the ticket box office at 740-455-6487 or visit www.zct.org.
