ARTS/West will present its annual Silent Art Auction and SATB's "A Musical Feast" concert this Sunday, Dec. 15.

This season’s concert, which benefits the Nelsonville Food Cupboard, will feature a "veritable smorgasbord of different song courses throughout the evening," according to a press release.

SATB is a group of people who love to sing, but want to do more for the community than just present concerts. For each concert, they partner with a non-profit organization from the Athens area committed to making the community and the world a better place, then share a portion of the donations with that organization.

The group performs dynamic choral music from around the world that celebrates diversity and humanity.

Throughout the year, local artists, such as Emily Beveridge, Rachel Clark and Andrea Stern, donate pieces to be featured in the art auction. Items (as shown below) will be displayed on ARTS/West's Facebook and Twitter pages in the days leading up to the concert.

The auction gets underway at 6 p.m. with the concert following at 7 p.m. A reception will be held downstairs after the concert. Email or call 740-592-4315 for more information.
