Kayla Estep, 22, of Millfield, entered pleas of guilty to two charges of trafficking in heroin and will spend the next two years in prison.
Tuesday Estep entered guilty pleas to a bill of information charging her with two counts of drug trafficking. Athens Common Pleas Court Judge L. Alan Goldsberry sentenced her to a 24 month prison term and a six month driver’s license suspension upon her release.
The charges were initiated in August 2013 when Estep sold heroin on two consecutive days to a confidential law enforcement informant.
The case was investigated by the Athens County Narcotics Enforcement Team.
