Drug Bust In Portsmouth Lands Three People In Jail

Four people were arrested in Portsmouth Friday night on drug charges.

Police and The Southern Ohio Drug Task Force searched an apartment in the Wayne Hills Apartment Complex and found seventy grams of suspected heroin, almost $1,400 cash, digital scales and additional drug trafficking-related evidence.

Two small children were in the apartment at the time of the search.

Police arrested 37-year-old Melissa A. Stiltner, of Portsmouth, Brandi Cherelle Bellfo, 26, and Malcom D. Owens, 24, both of Dayton.

All three are charged with Trafficking in Heroin and Possession of Heroin and being held in jail.
