Route 33 north of Athens at the Hocking County line was closed for more than three hours Saturday morning while a semi tractor-trailer crash was cleared up.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said the International Pro Star driven by Rene Moot, 24, of New Mexico rolled into the median and flipped.

The accident which occured shortly after midnight closed the roadway for three-and-a-half hours while a wrecker wrestled the vehicle upright.

Moot was cited for failure to control the vehicle on the snow and ice covered surface.

A passenger in the truck, Elicio Canastu, 27, of Albuquerque was taken to Doctor's Hospital for treatment of non-incapacitating injuries.
