A tip to the Drug Task Force led police to a Huntington home where they found marijuana plants and an elaborate indoor grow system worth up to $118,000.
The West Virginia Bureau of Criminal Investigation, along with West Virginia State Police, made the find in the 1800 block of Hall Avenue.
WSAZ reports police seized 23 plants, each with a street value of $3,000 to $5,000. Along with the plants, thousands of dollars of equipment also was seized.
West Virginia State Police Sgt. E. A. Blankenship says they did not have a warrant, but after knocking on the door they were given consent to search the home.
No one was arrested, but police say charges are pending.
