After measuring in with fellow defensive backs on Monday, former Ohio cornerback Travis Carrie opted to not participate in Tuesday's NFL Combine workouts.

Carrie, who entered the Combine at 6-foot, 206 pounds, only chose to bench Monday putting up 17 reps at 225 pounds. On his second day of workouts, he was expected to run the 40-yard dash as well as test his vertical and broad jump.

The Lompoc, Calif. native earned first-team All-Mid-American Conference honors as a return man in 2013 as well as third-team honors as a defensive back. Over his career with the Green and White, he recorded nine interceptions. He served as a captain for Ohio the past two seasons.

Ohio will host their annual Pro Day on March 13 where Carrie will have another opportunity to showcase Combine-like skills for NFL scouts.
