West Mulberry Street, between Richland Avenue and Court Street will be closed by the city on Friday, according to city officials.
The closure will begin at 8 a.m. on Friday and the road will remain closed until further notice, according to a news release sent by Deputy Service-Safety Director Ron Lucas on Thursday morning.
The road is being closed "in order to investigate the structural integrity of the utility tunnel beneath the road," the release stated.
The bus stop on West Mulberry will be temporarily relocated to President Street, across from Copeland Hall.
