Tuesday’s winter-like conditions forced both Ohio and Rio Grande to cancel their afternoon games.
Ohio was scheduled to travel to Dayton to take on the Flyers of the Atlantic-10 and Rio Grande planned on visiting Circleville to play Ohio Christian University. Neither game will be rescheduled.
On Wednesday, Ohio will host Rio Grande in a rare matchup between the two teams.
Rio Grande (17-25, 4-17 MSC) enters play having dropped five of its last six games and is currently in last place in Division III’s Mid-South Conference.
Ohio (5-27, 1-11 MAC) has lost 10 straight games and is at the bottom of the MAC standings.
Wednesday’s game will be played at Ohio’s Bob Wren Stadium. First pitch is set for 6 p.m.
