Summer construction is in full swing at Ohio University. The wide array of projects include road, building and utility work. The university and City of Athens aim to progress on the projects with minimal disruption to events and activities.
Campus projects are occurring at College Green, the Housing Development Plan Construction, South Green Drive Extension, Mill Street Connection, Tupper Hall, Lindley Hall, Schoonover Center for Communication and Emeriti Park.
City projects include the Richland South Project, West Union Street Water Line Replacement and Annual Road Rehabilitation Project.
More information on the summer construction will be unveiled at Ohio University’s bi-weekly media conference call Thursday at 3 p.m. Harry Wyatt, OHIO Associate Vice President for Architecture, Design and Construction, and Mark Whitney, OHIO Design & Construction Project Manager will be at the conference, as well as other facilities, parking, and construction representatives. Details about the conference will be released tomorrow.
