Authorities say a missing 4-year-old boy has been found dead in a central Ohio river.
The Licking County Sheriff's Office says Colton Angus wandered away from his house along the Licking River in Newtown Township on Sunday evening.
Sheriff's deputies say search and rescue crews scoured the area for the missing boy. The Ohio State Highway Patrol provided air support.
Divers found the boy's body nearly two hours later in the river. He was found about 55 feet offshore in about 9 feet of water. Deputies say attempts to revive him failed.
