In this edition of Conversations from Studio B, host Jackie Wolf and Professor of History and Director of Contemporary History Institute Steve Miner bring to the table the actions of the Soviet Union during the tragic days of the Second World War.

In Miner's new book, The Furies Unleashed, the reader takes a closer look at the relations between the Allied forces before Russia was considered an ally, including the "Lend-Lease" assistance. The United States, pushing the assistance program, gave high numbers of foods and iron ingots, with the successful hopes that the USSR would be able to build their own armored division.
