The Ohio Bobcats will be represented at the FIBA World Cup this summer, as senior forward Maurice Ndour will compete with the Senegal National Team in the tournament.
The 24-team tournament will be held in Spain in late August. The teams will be split into six-team pools. Senegal will be in Group B, which includes Puerto Rico, Croatia, Greece, Argentina and the Philippines.
The tournament will be an excellent opportunity for Ndour to play against some top-notch competition with several teams in Group B sporting NBA talent. NBA veterans Manu Ginobili and Jose Barea will play for Argentina and Puerto Rico respectively.
Senegal’s first game of the tournament will be against Greece on August 30.
