1) Tri-Valley Scotties (7-0, 5-0) | Last week 1.

The Scotties have been atop the MVL for three years in a row and show no signs of slowing up. They have outscored MVL opponents by a total of 225 points and feature a stable of athletes. The Scotties have also only allowed three touchdowns this season, but will be put to the test against Sheridan and then Maysville in weeks 8 and 9.

2) Maysville Panthers (7-0, 6-0) | Last week 2.

Maysville remains in the number two spot behind Tri-Valley. Although the Panthers have one more conference win than the Scotties, they trail Tri-Valley in both points for, and points against. The best opportunity for Maysville to take over the number one spot in the conference will come in its week 9 showdown with the Scotties.

3) Sheridan Generals (6-1, 4-1) | Last week 3.

The Generals come in at number three again, but could make a serious jump if they manage to take down Tri-Valley this Friday. A win this week could give Sheridan the computer points needed to jump in the state rankings and sneak into the playoffs.

4) John Glenn Little Muskies (4-3, 3-2) | Last week 4.

Coming off a 44-0 loss against Tri-Valley, the Little Muskies stay at No. 4. They face another tough opponent in Maysville in Week 8. A playoff run would be a serious stretch for John Glenn, and a loss to Maysville would end their chances for good.

5) New Lexington Panthers (3-4, 3-2) | Last week 5.

New Lexington enters Week 8 in a dead tie with Philo in the computer polls in Divison IV, Region 13. The Panthers have earned a small advantage in conference record over Philo, but the two will sort things out this week in Duncan Falls.

6) Philo Electrics (3-4, 2-3) | Last week 6.

The Electrics look to get back on track having lost two of the last three games. New Lexington should match up well with Philo this week and this is for sure an MVL game to keep an eye on.

7) Crooksville Ceramics (3-4, 1-4) | Last week 7.

Crooksville rounds out the 3-4 teams in the MVL with the lowest conference win percentage of the three. The Ceramics have a good chance to win over Morgan and could sit 4-4 before ending the season against Sheridan and John Glenn respectively.

8) West Muskingum Tornadoes (0-7, 0-7) | Last week 8.

The Tornadoes have played more conference games than any other team in the MVL, however these contests have not proved favorable for them. West Muskingum has not won a game since their 2011 showdown with Morgan when they defeated the Raiders 33-14.

9) Morgan Raiders (0-7, 0-7) | Last week 9.

Morgan has given up the most points in the MVL this year while scoring the least. These numbers do not set the Raiders up well going into their matchup with Crooksville. If Morgan loses the next two weeks, the MVL could see two 0-9 teams battling each other in week 10.
