Adult Learning Programs now online!
Printer-friendly versionWOUB has a long history of broadcasting two adult learning series; The GED Connection and Workplace Essential Skills. In the past, those who wished to use the video content to supplement their workbook activities had to either plan their activities around the broadcast dates and times, or remember to set their home recorders to capture the broadcast. Even then, waiting on a specific episode to be broadcast could take days.
Now, thanks to a partnership between WOUB and the Ohio Literacy Network, along with funding from the Small Business Association - every episode of these two series can be viewed online at no charge! Also included with the two programs is a third - The Pre-GED Connection.
Users can select the episodes they wish to review using the easy menu provided. Topics from grammar, geometry and physics to interviewing, resumes and problem solving can be found and utilized to assist any adult learner.
Users simply login for free using an email address, city, state and zip code to view the content - but also have an option of including name and contact information to order the companion workbooks and seek assistance from qualified professionals.
