This Saturday, area residents are invited to take a short scenic drive to Shade, Ohio, for the 9th annual Jerseyville Festival, featuring live entertainment, contests and food.

The free event, which takes its moniker from the area's former name, is being held at the Shade Community Center, located in the old Shade School off old Route 33.

The Chesterhill Harvest Festival returns to Morgan County this Saturday, promising a full day of live music, food, crafts, horse-drawn wagon rides and more.
