The annual AFSCME Local 1252 Backpack giveaway will take place at O’Bleness Hospital, near the Cornwell Center entrance on, July 27 at 10 a.m. and continuing until supplies last. Backpacks filled with school supplies will be distributed to area families. The Southeast Ohio Foodbank will also provide several pallets of free, fresh produce to local families in need.
