Gladden House Sessions 2016: Chris Forsyth

This episode of Gladden House Sessions features Philadelphia, PA-based psychedelic rocker Chris Forsyth.
Forsyth released a few solo albums from 2009- 2013, the most recent of which being Solar Motel. His two most recent releases, Intensity Ghost (2014) and The Rarity of Experience (2016) were crafted with the Solar Motel Band. Chris Forsyth and the Solar Motel Band originally came together as a studio project for his Solar Motel album and have been playing together ever since. The Rarity of Experience is their most recent album; released earlier this year as a double album.
For Chris Forsyth’s solo Gladden House set, he starts out with the instrumental “Paranoid Cat” from his 2009 solo album of the same name. Both tunes he picked for his session were psychedelic rock instrumentals; the second one being “The First Ten Minutes of C***sucker Blues” off of The Rarity of Experience.
