While the Ohio University Board of Trustees was meeting on Thursday some students took this opportunity to express their frustration. A group of students beared the cold and followed the lead of OU Student Union to protest against the way the Borad is spending money. The students met at College Green and walked down to Walter Hall where the Board was meeting.

They were especially concerned about the controversy of whether or not include Ohio University President Dr. Roderick McDavis in a 1 percent raise pool for faculty and staff and give him a bonus. "He shouldn't be getting any raises while tuition is going up", said Megan Marzec from OU Student Union.

Ohio University Communications and marketing has yet to coment on the protester's claim. But according to OUs Katharine Quaranta the vote on the raise will be on Friday and it will be a public vote.
